The warm sunshine brightened the seeds of hope. The cool Autumn breeze brings in golden fruit. On 5 September 2017, Heilongjiang Wangkui County Sanxiang Hope School held its completion ceremony, attended by China Youth Development Fund (China Youth Fund), Youth Party Heilongjiang Provincial Committee (Party Heilongjiang Provincial Committee), Suihua Municipal Government, Wangkui County Government and FAW TOYOTA. As the 18th Hope School FAW TOYOTA supported, its completion symbolize a breakthrough achievement of this charity event of love and hope.

Housanxiang Hope School is located in the Northwest of Wangkui County in Heilongjiang province. Due to scarce local education resources, the little teaching facilities of the school limited the students’ studying environment. Knowing the story about Hou Sanxiang, FAW TOYOTA worked together with China Youth Fund to support the construction of the school financially. With its support, a brand-new and modern teaching building was built in the school, bringing a more coulourful school life for students in Housanxiang area in Wangkui County.
“I can imagine kids coming to the new school, carrying their schoolbags happily. I can hear the simple and pure laughter and the sound of recitation in the school.” Jiang Jun, General Manager of FAW TOYOTA Sales Co. Ltd said in the completion ceremony sincerely. In the ceremony, Mr Jiang Jun presented a gift symbolizing the new school – “FAW TOYOTA Hope Project Happy Music Classroom” – to the school. Wang Jian, Chairman of China Youth Development Fund, extended his sincere thanks to FAW TOYOTA’s consistent attention and contribution to the charitable cause in China. He pointed out that the decade of charity work of FAW TOYOTA has become a strong power to ignite “the light of charity”, inspiring students in FAW TOYOTA Hope School to work hard and move forward.
Sister“BEETLES” held a “Let’s talk about dream” class for the kids
Afterwards, the beloved Sister “BEETLES” brought a positive and energetic “Let’s talk about dream” class for the kids. Through three modules, “Trace the source of dream”, “Understand the path to the dream”, Enjoy the happiness of chasing the dream, the class inspired students to talk about their dreams and understand the importance of working hard to make their dream come true.

In the session afterwards, leaders from YIQIFENTIAN and Sister “BEETLES” happily shared their ideas with kids in the “Let’s talk about dream” class.
For many people, the number 18 symbolises more energy and responsibility. Therefore, we hope that kids could work hard in this new school and lay solid foundation for their life. In addition, we wish that everyone could grow up healthily in their future school life and fly after their dreams with persistence and hard work.” Mr Jiang Jun said in the interview, “FAW TOYOTA, as an automobile company, has been eager to take up its social responsibilities since its establishment. As of today, FAW TOYOTA has invested nearly 100 million Yuan in CSR, including “small hands holding big hands” children’s safety education event, “Love Library” and other 13 charity projects. There have been 1.1 million man-times involved, covering 120 million person times indirectly.
